Static QR codes without a redirect service
The generated code contains the text you enter. For a website, include its full https:// address. The tool does not create a hosted tracking link, collect scans or add an expiry timer. A QR code cannot keep a destination website online; the destination remains your responsibility.
SVG scales cleanly for printing. PNG uses whole-pixel modules. Both exports keep a white border of four modules around the code and a black-on-white pattern. Test your final printed size with a phone before distributing it. Long content and stronger error correction produce denser codes that need more physical space.
The encoder library is loaded from jsDelivr when you generate a code; your entered text is passed to the local encoder, not placed in a network request. UTF-8 text is supported, though scanner handling can vary. Inputs are limited to 1,800 bytes, and stronger correction levels may require shorter text.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the destination after downloading?
The encoded text is fixed. Generate a new code when the URL changes, or manage redirects on a domain you control.
Does the tool track scans?
No. There is no scan database or dynamic redirect service in this generator.
